The Fairbrossen Perth Hills Wedding of Sarah + Matt

It was one of those perfect Autumn days, where even the trees were singing!  The bride and groom chose to enjoy an intimate 'first look' witnessed only by the poplars, before a galavant around the Perth Hills in 'Sarg' a classic olive green Kombi.  We finally arrived at Fairbrossen Winery for an outdoor ceremony with a backdrop that nearly (but not quite) outshone the bride!  Canapes on the lawn, a stroll through some sun kissed vines and a ride on a rusty Ferguson tractor, then on to the party! From beginning to end, the day was filled with an incredible sweetness and joy!  Sarah and Matt, it was an absolute delight to be part of celebrating two beautiful humans like yourselves xxx Anna

The Perth City Wedding of Whitney + Shayne

The down to earth love that these two have for each other, and for their family and friends, is what shone on their special day! The Supreme Court Gardens in Perth City provided the perfect backdrop for their heartfelt ceremony, followed by a cheeky stroll through the back alleys of King Street Precinct where we got into a legit 'rumble' with another bridal party (dream fulfilled for me!!) and then onto a lively reception at Bells Functions on the Swan River (including fireworks and some impressive dance floor action)!  W+S it was a pleasure and an honour and I'll ALWAYS remember the day with a smile on my face, as I hope you do xxx A

To say that yesterday was a much anticipated event would be a complete understatement!  I've been itching to snap these two tying the knot since they booked me in 2015!  The careful planning was evident in every beautiful detail of the day; from the epic bridal party gifts, to the kick ass retro cars, the meticulously remodelled wedding dress (which was originally worn by the brides mother a few decades ago), the romantic first dance, the hilarious 'hangover kit' wedding favours, and the list goes on and on.  But the thing that caught my breath, was the wedding vows, which so clearly declared the sincerity of the love that this couple shares.  Luke and Keeley, the wedding of the century may be over, but your marriage adventure has just begun.  May it be truly blessed xxx A

Way too many awesome things happened at yesterdays wedding celebration to give you a full understanding in just a few photos, but rest assured it was a day (and night) that will not be forgotten by anyone lucky enough to be there. What shone through even more than the sparkling blue ocean or the disco dance floor, was the very true and real love that these two have for each other. I felt like I was stepping into a cladenstine colonial romance, as we spent the afternoon slipping silently through ancient archways and finding darkened tunnels for stolen kisses, BUT..... it was actually my brothers very official wedding on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur, and we were sneaking around because it was his new wife's old school, and we had snuck onto the grounds while classes were in session!!! Luke and Nandini, words can't explain the joy I found in capturing these moments, and in seeing you both so VERY happy with each other.  The colour and life and laughter, and killer dancing, will make me smile whenever I remember it! xxx A

This wedding oozed style and class and a whole heap of personality from beginning to end! The ceremony took place in the gorgeous Santa Maria College Chapel followed by a gallavant through the streets of Fremantle accompanied by the cutest little fur baby ever and a killer bridal party!  Then on to a lavish reception at the stunning Ambrose Estate in Wembley!  Any night that ends with the bride and groom being bounced around on chairs above a crowded dance floor is officially a good night! Oh the fun we had, galavanting through Perth city on Saturday afternoon with this awesome bunch of bridal party goodness!!! The aim of the game was to visit as many of the bride and grooms favourite hang outs as possible, which made for a crazy fun and frenzied hour (including the obligatory pause for a killer cocktail)!! John and Alyce, your wedding celebration was everything a great wedding should be, and I'm so grateful to have been a part of it xxx

The Registry Office Wedding of Luke and Nandini

So this is basically the blog where I get a new sister!!!!!!!!!! And she is the BEES KNEES! My brother Luke, and the lovely Nandini will be having an extravagantly beautiful wedding in Malaysia next year, but instead of just signing the paperwork to get the legal stuff sorted in Oz, they thought they would let the family celebrate with them in a simple, yet seriously AWESOME Registry Office Wedding.  Can I just say, that any couple wanting a stress-free, fun and thrifty way to get married should seriously check out the Registry Office in your city.  Both the Brisbane and Perth Registry Office have stunning views, are conveniently located next to great photo spots, can accommodate over 20 guests and are absolutely no fuss! We loved our afternoon; the ceremony was over in a flash, then we all wondered through the Brisbane Botanic Gardens snapping some gorgeous moments (including trying to enact a scene from a Bollywood movie, and reconstructing one of our favourite photos from our parents wedding in the same gardens over 35years ago), before heading across the Goodwill Bridge (don't even ask about the walking frame) to an amazing feast at Ahmets Turkish Restaraunt.  A perfect way to celebrate two incredible human beings and their love for each other.  This is one very proud big sister!

What words could I possibly use to describe the 'country-boho' festival extravaganza that was the Wedding of Kate and Steve!  Over 400 guests, 3 bonfires, a groom with a blazing crossbow, a laser show, a crazy bush band, a whip-wielding MC, wild peacocks, a bridal party dessert bake off, fireworks, a heck of a lot of dancing, and a mountain of love! THANK YOU SO MUCH for letting me try to capture the magic on camera!!! It was unforgettable xxx

I got excited about the 'First Look' and didn't end up blogging the rest of this gorgeous wedding!  Jordie & Jordana chose to have an intimate 'First Look' at Raeburn Orchards
before jumping in some utes to head to their ceremony at the glorious rose gardens at Araluen Botanic Gardens. After some crazy romps with the bridal party, it was off for a night of feasting and dancing at beautiful Bakers House!  The whole day was made even more beautiful with florals and styling by Lace, Petals and Hearts.  Thank you SO much for letting me be part of such a genuine, heartfelt and hilarious day!!!!!

It was a truly town and country affair, where young love won the day, and moments of loveliness and laughter were around every corner! Perth Town Hall added a sense of tradition and sobriety to the day, while Darlington Estate Winery was the perfect backdrop to let loose and have an EPIC party (and everyone knows that EPIC parties always include donut walls!!!). I first met this couple in a photo booth at another wedding, and the chemistry was tangible!  So it was no surprise that sparks were flying during their intimate vineyard 'First Look'.  But what struck me even more than that, was the incredible sweetness and kindness that flowed between these two young souls.  As they read their letters of love to each other, and later as they exchanged their vows (at the always beautiful Mallard Duck), it was plain for all the world to see that they TRULY cherished each other!! Words cannot describe the colour, the beauty, the thoughtful detail that went into every moment of todays wedding extravaganza (including costume change) at Caversham House. But what outshone even the sequins in the saris, was the love that Shiphrah and Morne have for each other. There is something incredibly special about the marriage of highschool sweethearts! The bride said in her vows, 'You are my living diary' and in his reply, 'I have know you for nearly half my life', and I was struck by the treasure of truly knowing another soul, as deeply and faithfully as that!
