STILL LlFE...

I love how photos are still.  They take away the sound, the distractions that surround and let you contemplate the beauty in a person.  To notice how they have changed, how precious they are.  This is my eldest, my Eden Rose.  How beautiful she is.

Double the fun in Kings Park

This gorgeous family of 3 quickly became a family of 5 when Hank and Rose arrived on the scene!   Our afternoon in Kings Park consisted of Olivia demonstrating her botanical prowess, while the twins made ridiculously expressive faces, ensuring that every frame of this photo shoot was a surprise and delight! M&B my hat is off to you guys, you are raising a beautiful family xxx

Family Photos in Kings Park

Mum Dad and I spent an energetic afternoon trying to keep up with these three gorgeous and energetic little boys as they cavorted through Kings Park! There were bubbles and balls and lots and lots of running, but the results were beautiful.   K&J thank you for letting me play with your little tribe xxx

It's the little things...

One of my favourite moments from our trip to Medan, Indonesia earlier this month...This little boy from Living Waters orphanage, was enthusiastically watching my husband (who is a cabinet maker) and the team, building computer desks as part of a project by Loving On Indo which is creating IT labs (including 135 computers) in local kindergartens, a drug rehab, and a primary and secondary school. I love the moment when he realised he could help! I think we all love those moments. When we can find our place in something bigger than ourselves!!!

The Geaney's Swan Valley Wedding Celebration

I just wanted to showcase an ever evolving wedding venue in our beautiful Swan Valley!   The Mallard Duck is a delightful combination of sweeping gums over a romantic lake, rose gardens, rustic sheds, funky palms and versatile ceremony and reception areas.  Before photographing Sarah and Richard's wedding we had planned to find locations away from the venue for the bridal party shoot, but with so much on offer all in the one place, we never had to leave!  It made for a fun and relaxed afternoon, with the bride and groom strolling from our final sunset photos straight into the big white marquee for a night filled with great food and good times!

A Good Father

So here's to the modern day heroes... the foundations of our society and the fathers of our families.  The noble and the gentle men, who battle traffic and tedium, emotions and exhaustion, bills and bank balances, mowers and wheelie bins, tantrums and tickles, to raise our children in safety and in love.  There is a song that's going around and it says it all, 'You're a good good Father, that's who you are...and I'm loved by you, that's who I am'.  Thank you mighty men, and faithful fathers, we are so incredibly grateful for you.

Sneak Peak - Caversham House Wedding Celebration

Every thoughtful detail of this day was breathtakingly beautiful. The vibrant invitations, the lavish flowers, the vintage cars, the dress, the diamonds, the gifts and I could go on. But the most beautiful details of all, were this couples sweet adoration for each other, and the huge love of their families. Claire and Scott I was humbled and grateful to be a part of this celebration of your love. All the very best in the crazy adventure ahead, and I will post more gorgeous pics as soon as you return from honeymoon!

My Sonshine

If you are wondering why there has been a lull in activity on the blog, allow me to introduce you to my fourth little bundle of joy... Zyah Stephen Pretorius!  He arrived 2 weeks early, weighing in at nearly 10 pounds.  We are all delighted he has arrived, but judging by some of the photos, he is not so sure!
